WILD  EROS

Untitled design - 2025-07-09T132634_edit

The Myth & Vision

Wild Eros was born from my own longing to remember what had been forgotten. I was searching to find the Muse within my own body, to find a home in my body after years of healing from eating disorders and unconscious shadows that were seemingly beyond my capacity to alchemize. I felt the ache of a world disconnected from the true Source of Love  and layers of trauma and distortion around bodies and sexuality. Through my own explorations of going from behind the lens to in front of it, Wild Eros revealed itself one magic filled afternoon in the forest of Appalachia.

It emerged as a living prayer, inviting me into a realm that I was meant to gatekeep. A prayer for all beings to come home to the earth, their bodies, and the innocence of eros that connects us to the magic and beauty of life. This work emerged from my own devotional path to the Divine, Creative Muse, and the Healing of my relationship to my body and the Earth.

Eros is the sensual pulse of love that lives within all of life. To the Greek, Eros was a god of love and the personification of desire. In Latin “erasmus” meant “Beloved”. The essence of this love has been given great distortion through social and religious indoctrination. When we touch the beloved within ourselves, we merge with the primordial and primal nature of love that is inseparable from the natural world.

This work exists to restore Eros to its innocence.

To rewild Eros is to rewild Love,

within the body and the earth.

Wild Eros is an eco-somatic, mytho-poetic practice held through ritual photography and multimedia storytelling, These offerings are a rite of passage that honors your integration of shadow and the wholeness of your becoming. Through the elements, the land, archetypal exploration, and conscious witnessing, Wild Eros offers space to:

  • Embody the soul essence

  • Explore hidden or forbidden aspects of self

  • Restore relationship with the Earth

  • Ritualize thresholds of becoming

  • Reclaim the innocence of your erotic expression

  • Reveal the hidden Mythos of your souls path

With Wild Eros Photography and film act as mirrors that reveal the essence of what was once unseen and is a sacred practice of witnessing.

To be seen in one’s authentic, embodied expression is a profound moment of integration. When an aspect of self that has lived in shadow, grief, desire, rage, tenderness, and wildness is all welcomed into visibility, it no longer needs to remain fragmented or hidden.

Photography becomes a ritual that walks you across the threshold

It marks the crossing from who you have been into who you are becoming.

The camera functions as a mirror for the nervous system, anchoring new levels of embodiment through presence, consent, and reverent attention. What is seen is no longer abstract or imagined, but made real in the body.

This is why Wild Eros is not simply a photo session, but an initiation.

It is my deepest prayer for all beings to remember and empower the mystery and magik that lives within the body, the earth and the soul. I believe that the Beloved we seek lives within our bodies, within the body of the earth, and within every part of creation.

Like a lover

patiently awaiting for us to trust the open door

and leap into the arms of the unknown,

stripping us of every falsehood we ever believed about ourselves,

and slowly merging into us like we were never separate.

The Divine has a story for you that is a mythic landscape far beyond the mind, containing your wildest dreams, deepest peace, and ultimate liberation.

This work is available to

all bodies and all beings

to explore the power of reclaiming the wisdom of the body, reveal the soul's mythos, and come home to all of who you are.

Meet the Visionary & Your Photographer
Grace Asharah

I am Grace Asharah, an initiatory guide, mytho-somatic artist, and ceremonial witness devoted to the remembrance of embodied soul. I serve as a mirror, integration guide, and soul midwife, holding spaces where what has been forgotten, fragmented, or silenced can return to the body with reverence. To me, this life itself is a living prayer, a ceremony unfolding through flesh, land, breath, and belonging. My work is rooted in devotion to restoring right relationship with the body, the Earth, and the living mystery that moves through all things. I have spent the last 12 years in devotion to reclaiming cyclical relationship to nature, healing the body, and remembering the ancient rites across lineages. I hold a deep passion for the awakening of humanity and the importance of anchoring Spirit into the embodied experience of being human.

My path has been shaped through years of somatic practice, ceremonial arts, and embodied spiritual inquiry. I have studied and practiced across disciplines of embodiment, nervous-system awareness, ritual facilitation, feminine mysteries of the Rose Lineage, and earth-based ceremony. These lineages inform how I work, not just as techniques applied to others, but as lived practices that shape how I listen, witness, and attune. My approach honors the body as an intelligent field of memory and myth, capable of integrating deep transformation when met with safety, presence, and reverence.

Photography and film are central to my work as ritual tools of witnessing. I have worked with the lens since childhood, experiencing it as a way of seeing through the eyes of the Beloved—revealing beauty, meaning, and myth hidden within the ordinary and the unseen. I have a deep passion for revealing and becoming intimate with the deeper story and beauty hidden within each moment. My artistry is multidisciplinary, weaving visual storytelling, somatic awareness, poetry, and ceremony to create images that do not merely document, but initiate. This is storytelling for the ancient future where ancestral memory, embodied presence, and emerging consciousness meet. My dreams for Wild Eros include becoming a living archive of the feminine awakening within bodies, earth, and the collective field.

Drawing from Celtic lineage, yogic traditions, indigenous ceremonial rites, energetic therapies, and womb-centered wisdom, I weave containers uniquely shaped to support rites of passage, creative becoming, and soulful remembrance. As a multi-disciplinary artist I hold many pillars of creative vision, including my arts of music, painting, devotional movement, and writing. Through Wild Eros and my wider body of work, I offer photography, ritual spaces, mentorship, workshops, and retreats devoted to liberated embodiment, feminine mysteries, creative alchemy, archetypal mythos, and reconnection with Earth and Spirit. Along with this work I am also an author of a collection of poems on grief, heartbreak and the journey of becoming called "Hymns of a Heart Cracked Open" and an upcoming book called "Wild Gnosis". All the details about my creative and ritual work are found in the Learn more button below.

It is my honor to witness and hold you at the threshold

where what you are becoming begins to take form.

And your legacy is remembered

from the roots up.

What is Mytho-Somatic Photography?

A mytho-somatic approach to photography weaves together myth, body awareness, and ritual witnessing. Rather than directing poses or capturing appearances, this work listens to the body as a living story, allowing archetypes, emotion, and soul-memory to move through gesture, breath, and presence.

The session becomes a dialogue between psyche and flesh, where myth is not performed, but becomes embodied and revealed throughout our time together.

Through attunement to the nervous system, the land, and the symbolic language of the soul, photography becomes a threshold practice. This process begins when we have our first vision call and reveals more deeply as we go into our session together.

What has lived in shadow is welcomed into visibility, anchoring new levels of embodiment and integration. The resulting images are not representations of who you were but living mirrors of who you are becoming and marking a rite of passage where the body remembers itself as sacred.
